What is underwater hockey?
Octopush is underwater hockey and is the supreme aerobic game. It was invented in the early 1950s and is played worldwide. It's great fun and anyone who can swim can join in.
How do you play?
The object of the game is to move a lead puck or squid, with the help of a hand held pusher, along the bottom of the pool, then score by pushing the puck into the opponents goal. All this is done underwater, using mask, fins and snorkel.
How many play?
There are 10 people in a team, but only six are allowed in the water at one time. The idea is to work quickly and get the puck into your opponents goal.
